Being an Indian, I love my country as anyone else does. The vast diversity and harmony among the people no matter how tough the political and economical scenarios may seem inspires me and many people around the world. Its awe inspiring to see the youth today trying to combat all the possible loop holes coming in the path of the development of the country.
No matter how educated the people all around may seem, no matter how developed the country may be, there is one short coming, one social stigma that the country and the society has been trying to fight since time immemorial.
The Female Infanticide.
The second the cry of a female child is heard in some houses, the family members stoop down to the extent of hiding their faces, that a female child has been born into their family of engineers and doctors. The most saddening part of this that even well educated people who give their hours and hours of hard works over spreading the awareness and the importance of female child are also involved in this substandard act. Female infanticide is not just an atrocity, its an abomination. This country of ours manages to kill 10 million girls in 20 years! And the whole blame goes to the mother who bore the child in her womb for nine months. Was it her fault that the sperm that fertilized that particular ovum was "X"?! Biologically and scientifically and logically it is the man's fault that a girl has been born in the family. Then why the hell is the mother beaten up or burnt alive for giving birth to a girl? Why dun people do the same to the same to the father instead?
Cm'on people, its high time that people start using their grey matter. Start giving women their rights. Start giving them a chance to prove themselves!
Even after reaching the Everest, even after having the posts of the most powerful leaders of all the times, even after women are still underestimated with the thought that they cant compete with men in any aspect and hence the best solution to this is taking away their lives!? Why do people forget that it was a woman who got them too into this planet. Try imagining a day without a single woman or a girl on this planet...
Things have come down to an extent that if a girl is asked to be reborn as woman in this country, she would love to be one yet again, but would rather wait for several centuries before humanity learns to treat them as equals. Just because she cant speak doesn't mean that you can kill her! All such narrow minded people out there, just imagine had your mum been aborted, where would have you been? A single lady manages to keep all her relations, manages to keep all of them happy. She is a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend and yet still manages to keep everyone contended.
As Adolf Hitler said, its high time that we allow and encourage women as stupid and imaginable and then denounce men as "faggots" and "misogynists", if they dare to criticize women's stupidity!
